Robert McCracken MBACP, MNCPS (Accred.)
Integrative Counsellor

Welcome to our website! I’m Robert, a dedicated counselor with a passion for supporting my clients’ growth and progress. With years of experience, I find great fulfillment in helping individuals navigate their journeys.
As an advocate for diversity and authenticity, I am an ADHD’er and a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, identifying as Non-Binary/Bigender. My personal experiences enrich my understanding and empathy in my practice.
A proud veteran, I have worked closely with both serving and former members of the armed forces, including those impacted by the “Gay Ban.” My background also includes leadership as a former director of a nationally recognized leisure business, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges of leadership and the isolation often felt at the top.
After stepping back from the business world to prioritize my health, I dedicated myself fully to counseling. My volunteer work with MIND as both a telephone and face-to-face counselor further solidified my commitment to mental health and wellbeing.
I am trained as an integrative therapist, which allows me to tailor my approach to best suit each individual client. I often describe my style as “Humanistic with a Humouristic twist,” blending compassion, understanding, and a touch of lightness to create a supportive and engaging space for growth.
Sarah Dawson FdSc, MBACP. MNCS (accred)

Sarah is an unusual, unique and compassionate counsellor with experience working with a diverse range of individuals and presenting issues. As a neurodivergent person herself, she offers valuable insight and understanding to both neurodivergent and neurotypical clients. Her personal history includes overcoming childhood sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, giving her a deep awareness of trauma caused by adversity and abuse. As a survivor of domestic abuse, Sarah also has firsthand understanding of the challenges faced when living with an abusive narcissistic partner.
Clients often describe Sarah as highly perceptive and empathetic. She adopts an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from multiple therapeutic styles to tailor sessions to your individual needs. Her life experiences enrich her understanding of people, ensuring a supportive and relatable environment. Sarah offers Solution-Focused Therapy, which is especially helpful if you’re unsure of what you want to achieve from therapy—she can assist you in discovering your goals.
Importantly, Sarah is open about her diagnosis of EUPD/BPD. She is passionate about increasing awareness, understanding, and empathy for this complex and impactful condition. She has worked with individuals living with BPD as well as their families and partners, aiming to reduce stigma and provide meaningful support.
Sarah’s practice locations include rooms in Yatton, North Somerset, and the Whiteladies Therapy Rooms, with options for online sessions as well.
Additionally, Sarah is a proud ally and member of the LGBTQ+ community. She regularly attends support groups for trans and non-binary individuals and actively contributes to organising Pride events.
